WOW what an awesome story. The characters in this book are characters people can fall in love with. Brooklyn takes on a new job however it's quite possible someone is out to get her literally out to kill her. This book has so many twists and turns. Suspense and excitement at the turn of every page. With her life possibly on the line she turns to long time friend and police detective Mark, but when things get heated between Brooklyn and Mark he doesn't know if he can continue to protect her the way she needs and still be her friend. Brooklyn wants to find who's responsible for the killings happening from someone dubbed as the Forget Me Knot killer. Can Brooklyn and Matt find this killer at large before something horrible happens to one or both of them. Or will the killer get the best of them by keeping himself one step ahead of them at every turn.

I read the beginning and it was a decent mystery - who's killing girls that look like h? Unrequited love for H. Then they all turned into totally unbelievable idiots whose main activities were 2 on 1 that had nothing to do with the plot. Even the sex scenes were unbelievably stupid. I read the last page to see if there was even any follow-up on the plot and guess what? It was a cliffhanger ending.

This story had me hooked from the beginning. The chemistry and passion on the job and in the bedroom shared between the two was genuine and heartbreaking. Wag to go Elizabeth!
A must read
I loved that this book had mystery and suspense that kept me guessing. Alongside that was the angsty love that always calls to me in books! The only problem is that I had to immediately buy book 2!

Elizabeth definitely did not disappoint!
I totally loved this book and the characters, Elizabeth pulled her readers in to this story.. A must read, I will most definitely read more books by this author. Can't wait for the book two to come out. Keep up the great work Elizabeth.
The first chapter drew me in. The second chapter blew me away. From there, I could not be pulled away from this book. Elizabeth York tells a story with passion and intrigue. I will not give spoilers, but it’s fair to say; when you read her novel you will be spoiled and look forward to more of this new author’s novels. I didn’t want the book to end. I will be anxiously waiting for more of her novels.
